Union Institute & University recognizes the value of each student's unique life experience and believes education should integrate life with learning. The bachelor's degree programs at UI&U build on life experience, often providing students with the ability to use their professional achievements toward college credits.
Transfer Credit
Whether your college credit was earned two weeks or more than 20 years ago, we recognize the value of your past learning. UI&U's Bachelor's programs accept transfer credits (up to 90 credit hours, see specific degree program for detailed info) from a variety of sources, including other accredited academic institutions, college-level experiential learning, workshop documentation, military training, and CLEP exams. Through careful faculty guidance, students develop an individualized study plan that matches their experience with their personal and career goals.
