Dr. Hart earned a doctorate in Labor Relations and Organizational Behavior from Northcentral University, Prescott, Arizona in 2009. She completed her MBA at Ashland University with a specialization in Employee Relations. She also has several B.S. degrees from OSU and Franklin University.
Dr. Hart is a certified Hospitality Educator and is involved in curriculum development, course assessment, and student advising. She is an active reviewer of textbooks for the hospitality and tourism disciplines.
Prior to her college teaching career, Dr. Hart worked as a Financial Analysis & Financial Accountant in the Real Estate/Construction industry overseeing the construction of several malls and hotels in and around Central Ohio. Dr. Hart began her professional career in the tourism industry. During her time in the tourism field she was a flight attendant and eventually a travel manager of a multi-site, multi-million dollar corporate travel management company. She was also a Sport Event Manager working with MLB, NBA, and NFL teams as well as minor league baseball.
