Dr. Rachel Becker-Klein, Ph.D. received her Ph.D. in Community and Developmental Psychology from New York University in May, 2003 Dr. Rachel Becker-Klein's dissertation was a program evaluation of an educational program designed for children and families living in poverty. Dr. Becker-Klein has taught courses at Keene State College and Antioch University New England on Human Development and Research and Evaluation. In addition to teaching, Dr. Becker-Klein works as a Senior Research Associate at PEER Associates, an evaluation group that provides program evaluation and educational research services to projects seeking to promote environmental, place-based, and/or empowerment goals. She has been working at PEER Associates since 2005, and brings her experience in Community Psychology and systems thinking to her evaluation work. Recently, she has focused on creating authentic assessment tools and toolkits that organizations will be able to use to build their internal capacity to do evaluation and become a learning organization.
