Michelle Williams - B.A. Learner

Michelle WilliamsMichelle Williams has cooked up a very full, very passionate life. As a single caregiver to her younger sister and full-time owner and operator of Three Sisters’ Kitchen, a personal chef business, Michelle still manages to devote time to studying woman’s anthropology in UI&U’s Bachelor of Arts program.

“The field of woman’s anthropology is a relatively new and emerging concept,” Michelle notes. “With the recent changes in both science and sociology, woman’s anthropology is an emerging field I am proud to be a part of.”

At Union, Michelle is successfully completing a degree that holds meaning for her, without having to sacrifice other aspects of her life, or her academic dreams. “This program is not about mindless learning--it is about self discovery,” Michelle says. “The staff at Union work to help you find your passionate path.”

Beyond school, work, and home, Michelle also takes time to give back to the community, as part of a non-profit organization dedicated to women’s empowerment and fulfillment. She plans to continue her studies to pursue a Ph.D., write books, and support her community.
