Authorization to Offer Degree Programs

Union Institute & University is authorized by the following state education agencies to offer degree programs:

The Higher Learning Commission

California Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education
Authorized to offer B.A, B.S., and Ph.D. programs and to operate two centers: Los Angeles and Sacramento.

Florida Commission for Independent Education
Currently authorized to offer B.A., B.S., M.Ed., Ed.S., and Ph.D. programs and to operate one center: North Miami Beach. Annual renewal process.

Ohio Board of Regents
Currently authorized to offer B.A., B.S., Ph.D., Psy.D., and Ed.D. programs.

Vermont State Board of Education
Initial institutional authorization in 2001. In 2009, the Board of Education renewed Union Institute & University’s authorization through December 31, 2010.
