The Education Studies concentration is designed for learners who are not seeking teacher licensure but who are interested in exploring educational issues from an interdisciplinary liberal arts perspective. The concentration encompasses a variety of topics in the social, psychological, political, cultural, and economic dimensions of education. Learners will explore such issues through reading, research, experiential learning, reflection, and critical analysis.
*For those learners pursuing a licensure, requirements state that learners must concentrate in an academic field aligned with their prospective teaching career, and not in the field of education.
