Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Leadership will enable learners to design a multi-disciplinary program tailored toward their chosen career paths. Learners can find a pathway to degree completion where they may otherwise find limitations in the current set of BS degree major options.
Upon completion of the B.S. program, learners will be able to…
- Express and interpret ideas clearly, using a variety of written, oral and/or visual forms
- Use different modes of disciplinary and interdisciplinary inquiry to explore ideas and issues from multiple perspectives
- Express ethical and social implications in their social, professional, artistic and/or scholarly practice
- Articulate a perspective on power in the world and their own place in the global community
Upon completion of the B.S. with a major in Leadership, learners will be able to:
- Apply, analyze, and evaluate a variety of concepts and theories of leadership to their own professional practice experiences
- Discuss and evaluate effective management and leadership behaviors and their implications in professional practice
- Describe the connections between ethics and leadership, and learn to apply ethical principles to issues in their chosen practice
- Deepen understanding of the complexity of leadership and how to enhance their capacity to be effective leaders in their chosen field
- Identify, assess, lead, and manage change in the professional environment

Accelerated degree completion
- Minimum credit hours: 48
- Earning eight (8) credits in eight (8) weeks
- Transferring credits from other regionally accredited colleges and universities
- Requesting credit for knowledge gained outside the classroom through work or professional experience
- Successfully completing CLEP or DANTES tests
- Participating in certified learning
