Conference Day

Since the inception of the Cohort Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies in July of 2006, Conference Day has been an integral part of the academic residency experience. Organized bi-annually by advanced graduate students in their fourth term of studies, Conference Day affords UI&U students, faculty, and guests with an opportunity to share their research in a variety of scholarly, professional, and artistic formats. Thus, aside from formal panels lead by discussants, Conference Day facilitates creative readings, roundtable discussions, art exhibits, lectures, and keynote presentations by distinguished scholars.

The 13th semiannual residency conference of UI&U's Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies Program will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the Kingsgate Marriott Conference Hotel in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Call For Papers
Individual and group submissions for the July 2012 Conference Day are now being accepted. Forward proposals to karsten.piep@myunion.edu by May 15, 2012. See additional details.
