Online Criminal Justice Admissions

UI&U reviews applications on an ongoing basis and offers learners six enrollment opportunities throughout the year--at the beginning and middle of each semester throughout the three-semester year (see the Bachelor of Science Registration and Tuition Policies). To make sure that you receive as much help as possible with your application, follow these steps before applying:

  • Talk to one of our enrollment coordinators about your career goals. Even before requesting our catalog, talk to a learner services/enrollment coordinator or faculty advisor. Our coordinators and faculty advisors can:
    • Help you identify your long-term goals
    • Suggest methods to accelerate your program,
    • Talk about course delivery options,
    • Connect you with faculty, learners, and alumni who have expertise in your area.
  • Talk to us about financial aid. After you’ve received pre-admissions counseling and are considering attending UI&U, your enrollment coordinator/financial aid advisor will explain the university's financial aid options.
  • Talk to one of our academic advisors about possibly transferring prior learning credits. After pre-admissions counseling, you'll have the opportunity to meet with an academic advisor to discuss your program and goals, and get answers to your questions. An advisor will review your college and experiential learning to estimate transfer/prior learning credits. An advisor can also talk to you about graduate school options and suggest a program tailored to your goals.
