A direct response to the unique educational needs of law enforcement professionals, Union Institute & University's Online Criminal Justice Degree Completion Program is designed to offer adult learners the opportunity to pursue their educational goals while continuing their work in the field. As a prospective learner, you will already have a criminal justice background through courses taken at the community college level, an associate’s degree, or relevant professional experience in law enforcement, corrections, or the courts.
The program is based on the belief that social policy, decision-making, and reform in modern law enforcement require a broad academic experience. Through unique partnerships with professional law enforcement organizations throughout the country, Union learners have an accelerated pathway to degree completion. Some agreements result in college credit awards for police academy training completed as part of law enforcement training, while other arrangements provide customized program services to law enforcement professionals.
