Faculty Council

Welcome to Union Institute & University and the Faculty Council.  Faculty Council is an elected and appointed group of members that represent the various academic programs across the university.  Membership is primarily made up of faculty representatives; in addition there are 2 ex-officio members, Provost and Library Director.

Faculty Council typically meets as a whole group bi-weekly.  Additional meetings of sub-committees and ad-hoc work groups occur regularly as well as when recognized as needed to represent the voice of faculty.  Occasionally guests from across the institution are included in meetings to help inform Faculty Council of current accomplishments, issues, and areas that may need to be explored by faculty.

UI&U faculty as well as others may elect to communicate with Faculty Council.  If you would like to contact Faculty Council, you may email the Faculty Council Chair; or if you are a current faculty member, you may wish to review the list of current members for the individual your program is affiliated with to contact.
