Cell/Mobile Phone Standards

Union Institute & University supports the use of cell/mobile phones to check e-mail.  The following are supported options.

Staff who receive approval from their Vice President and the Director of Information Technology, may have access to the university Blackberry server, which will keep their e-mail, calendar, etc. in sync with their Outlook account. Supported phones are the Blackberry Curve (any model) or the Blackberry Storm.

All Staff, Faculty, and Learners may enable their "smart" phones or PDA's to check their Union e-mail via the POP3 function on their phones.
