Rebecca McCollumRebecca has worked in Admissions as a student, graduate assistant, and then an Admissions Counselor from 97-2002. She then worked in Advising from 2002-2008, first at the University of Akron and then at the University of Cincinnati, where she served as the Director for the Advising Office in the Center for Access and Transition (supervising 10 advisors and serving over 800 students per year).
She also served on the Strategic Enrollment Management committee at UC and the Admissions Review Committee, and co-chaired the Academic Progress Review Committee. She was nominated for CAT Founders Award due to the role she played in the creation of the advising center and its policies and practices. The Advising Office was recognized nationally by NACADA National Academic Advising Association in 2008. Rebecca earned a B.A. in English from Miami University and M.A. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Akron.
