Veterans & Military Personnel

UI&U assists our learner  services members and veterans with educational opportunities available from all VA Chapters offering education benefits. We are particularly pleased to announce our participation in the Post 9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33) and the Yellow Ribbon Program. Beginning July 1, 2010 we will provide generous tuition assistance for the Bachelor of Science program in Florida and California and  the master’s and doctoral programs university wide for veterans and active duty military that qualify for education assistance under the Yellow Ribbon Program of the Post 9/11 GI Bill.

Yellow Ribbon Program
As a participant in the Yellow Ribbon Program, UI&U will work with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to fund tuition costs above the highest in-state undergraduate  tuition rate. The partnership will allow UI&U’s graduate  programs’ tuition and fees to be matched by the VA and will result in free tuition and fees for eligible veterans. It also allows for the benefit to be transferable to a spouse or dependant.
