Jackie Haessly Jacqueline Haessly, Ph.D.

Jacqueline's work as peace education specialist with her company, Peacemaking Associates, offers opportunity to empower educators, business, and community leaders in both national and international arenas to value, imagine, and work to preserve a culture of peace with justice.

Her published works include Weaving a Culture of Peace and chapters in books for education, business, and community leaders. Families As Educators For Global Citizenship inspires and guides those educating children to live peacefully with others. When the Canary Stops Singing: Women's Perspectives for Transforming Business, Rediscovering the Soul of Business, Working Together, and Tourism and a Culture of Peace, in press, challenge leaders to support corporate responsibility, global justice, and spirituality in business.

Dr. Haessly's membership in a number of organizations includes service on Advisory Boards, Community Boards, and as a conference coordinator, committee chair, presenter, and/or consultant for these organizations. She also served on the Quality Assurance Committee for Union Institute & University. "My commitment to Union is strong. I frequently speak to others about my Union journey, and invite others to check out the Union website. I would welcome an opportunity to expand my service to Union, bringing the same enthusiasm to the Union Board of Directors as I do to other organizations."
