Joyce Hayden-SemanDr. Joyce A. Hayden-Seman, graduated (1993) from Union Institute & University with a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. She previously earned a MSW from the Hunter College School of Social Work, NY, NY and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
For the last 25 years, Dr. Hayden-Seman has been focused on the development of a group clinical practice in New Jersey, the Ridgewood Institute for Integral Psychotherapy. With the help of six part time associates, she treats over 100 patients each week.
A Board Certified Diplomat and previously an Associate Professor of Ramapo College of New Jersey, she holds a clinical practitioner certification from the American Board of Psychodrama, Sociometry, and Group Psychotherapy. In 1997, Dr. Hayden-Seman published the first work on the use of psychodrama with couples entitled "Action Psychotherapy: Helping Troubled Couples", published by Jason Aronson.
