Robert Wright Robert E. Wright, M.A.

Bob Wright is a native New Yorker and graduate of Stuyvesant High School. He attended Yale College for 3 years in the 1970’s, eventually graduating from Excelsior College with a B.S. degree with dual majors in Political Science and Sociology. Bob graduated from UI&U with a M.A. degree with a concentration in Psychology. Currently he is a full time 4th year Ph.D. student entering candidacy in the Transformative Inquiry Department at the California Institute of Integral Studies.

Current research interests include the role of endogenous cyclic nitric oxide spiking in the human brain; neuropsychological and psychophysiological hyper & hypo stimulatory correlates of stress and allostatic loads leading to homeostasis and allostasis; altered states of consciousness including near death and lucid dream states; grief recovery and healing inner woundings; Chaos theory; and, Transdisciplinarity. Bob is a certified practitioner of Ericksonian Hypnosis, Neuro-Linguistic-Programming, and Open Focus.

An avid traveler, Bob has traveled to almost 50 countries, having completed a Round The World trip and a World Cruise. Two forthcoming popular book titles to be published in 2011 are Lazy Person’s Guide to Getting Rid of Your Stress the Easy Way; and, Exotic World Travel on a Shoe String Budget. Bob’s reflective hobbies include deciphering ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs, jet skiing, and close listening. He currently resides in New York and Florida, and is ecstatically happily married to the lovely Christine Wright.
