  1. Type medicare in the first search box and prescription drug in the second search box.
  2. Click on Search.
  3. In your results, you will see a mixture of sources ranging from news items to scholarly articles with the most recent items displayed at the top.

  4. To limit your results to only scholarly journals, click on the Academic Journals link that displays above your results.
  5. Notice how your results have now been dramatically decreased helping to target your search even further.

To the left of the search results are suggestions for narrowing your search by a particular subject. You can click on one of these subject terms to narrow your current results, or you might consider using one of these terms in a new search.

Many of the articles are available full text. For those that are not, you can click on the "Search for Full Text" link which will search all of our databases for the article, and if the full text is available elsewhere, direct you to it.

More search options are also available if you click on the Refine Search tab.
