An Article Database
Article Database

Article databases (also called periodical databases) include the citations of articles in magazines, journals and newspapers. Some databases will even list conference proceedings, dissertations, and technical reports. They often contain a mixture of scholarly and popular sources.

Many article databases contain abstracts or brief summaries of the articles. A few contain the full text or entire content of whole articles as they originally appeared in the periodical.

Online article databases purchased by the library are accessible from the library website.
