Mission Statement

The Office of Financial Aid seeks to assist students so that any qualified student who desires to pursue an education at Union Institute & University may do so without financial barriers. The office supports enrollment and retention goals by educating our students so they make the best financial decisions while studying at Union and beyond. As Union students change and our college profile broadens, the Office of Financial Aid cooperates with program offices and other student support offices to provide fair and equitable assistance to Union students. The Office of Financial Aid will:

  • provide outstanding proactive service to our students and other departments.
  • work with efficiency.
  • provide award letters and disbursements in a timely and equitable manner.
  • adhere to all federal, state, and institutional policies and regulations.
  • seek ways to increase student financial literacy.
